Partnership
What sponsorship makes possible
The Institute's public programs are built on partnerships. A concert needs a hall, a workshop needs materials, a publication needs printing and an exhibition needs installation. Sponsors provide the part of the budget that turns a good idea into an evening people can attend.
Sponsorship can be directed. A business may choose to support a music and dance workshop, a lecture series, the cataloguing of part of the archive, or the production of a book and its recordings. The Institute will discuss what is feasible and report back on what was achieved.

Cataloguing and preservation
Fund the slow work of describing, transferring and storing recordings and papers so they survive.
Support the shelf
Publications
Underwrite a book, a booklet or a set of recordings drawn from the Institute's collections.
